The village of Withycombe is located approximately 4 miles from Minehead and 15 miles from Taunton. 5 The Causeway is situated opposite the church that you can see in the left of the photo below. From Withycombe you can enjoy walks around the countryside to Dunster and onto Exmoor. Blue Anchor is 1.5 miles away and within walking or cycling distance as well.
The spacious lounge features a cozy wood burning stove, tv, dvd player, a three seater sofa, and a three seater/double futon.
In the kitchen there is a table that can seat 4 people; perfect for cozy meals and early breakfasts spent planning the day's activities. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge freezer, an oven, 4 burner hob, dish washer, toaster, microwave and kettle as well as cooking, baking and serving-ware.
Each bedroom boasts a double bed, storage and a window over-looking the church of St. Nicolas.
The outdoor patio is the perfect place to enjoy a meal or a glass of wine and a good book while listening to the relaxing sounds of the stream that runs along the property. There is a table with 4 chairs and a removable parasol, as well as extra seating on the bench by the wall. Also provided is a charcoal bbq--please help yourself to fresh herbs from the garden.
